Portsmouth Police Department Seeks Community Feedback Through Citizen Survey by Oct. 31

PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth Police Department is inviting community members to share their experiences, opinions and feedback through its 2026 Citizen Survey.

Conducted every two years, the survey helps the department better understand how the community views its work, identify areas for improvement and strengthen communication between the department and the people it serves.

The Portsmouth Police Department is especially encouraging local business owners and members of the business community to participate. Whether you own a business in Portsmouth, work in the city or frequently conduct business here, your perspective is an important part of the community conversation.

The survey is anonymous and will be open through Oct. 31, 2026. Results will be made available to the public.
