New Hampshire Theatre Project announces receipt of a $1,296 grant from the CherylAnne Williams Scholarship Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
New Hampshire Theatre Project is proud to announce the receipt of a $1,296 grant from the CherylAnne Williams Scholarship Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. This endowment fund has been benefitting young NHTP students since its inception in 2010.
Along with MainStage productions and the award-winning Elephant-in-the-Room Series®, NHTP offers professional development training for adults and private coaching for young people. Youth and teen theatre students with financial need are encouraged to apply to NHTP for assistance with private coaching and college audition preparation.
A former NHTP student writes: “The skills taught at NHTP are the communication and collaborative tools needed not just in theatre practitioners and artists, but scientists, executives, teachers, and engineers; and the values of professionalism, creativity, and quality are truly universal. I think most interesting and important work happens at the intersections between disciplines, and beyond traditional boundaries, and NHTP has done an excellent job of preparing me to explore and tease out these overlaps in both artistic and academic avenues.”
