Donna Sovie is the owner and CEO of Check and Balance Business Solutions. She started her accounting career over 20 years ago working in accounts payable for a small construction company, and over the years climbed to the ranks of executive management for multiple construction companies while earning her Bachelors and Masters degree in accounting. Today she has grown her business from one client to 30+ and is passionate about helping small businesses become more profitable while taking the stress of number crunching off of their plate. She has been a keynote speaker for the Women’s Business League, has taught multiple courses on accounting at Nashua Community College, and is a member of various networking associations and chambers throughout the state of NH.

Over 35 years of customer service and human resources experience with the majority of my career spent in the high tech and engineering industry. I enjoy working with people and helping them to find happiness and success in their work while supporting the overall goals of the organization. 

When I am not working you can find me.... Running, biking, hiking, skiing, paddling, cooking, playing pickleball, enjoying a yoga class or having a glass of wine.
