Description
Seacoast Science Center is celebrating World Ocean Day with a fun-filled family festival focused on the wonders of the ocean and how we can help keep it healthy for future generations. Activities will be provided from a number of organizations such as; a mock seal rescue for kids from the Marine Mammal Rescue Team, tours inside a life-size inflatable whale by Blue Ocean Society, or become a Reeftown Ranger with NHPBS and drive a ROV with our partners at the Portsmouth Navy Shipyard. Families can also participate in a family march for the ocean, face painting, games, meet-and-greet with mascots, beach clean-up and more. Music will be provided all day by DJ Captain Beats, Lexie’s Burger Bus will be on-site with lunchtime favorites, and there will be popcorn, cotton candy, and cold drinks available for purchase.
