Description
A lecture with David Barham - How to help your children (and yourself) remain open, compassionate and truly connected in a Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram world.
AntiSocial forces help us become Individuals, but can tear at the social fabric. How to balance the two to allow for a healthy social life AND healthy development of the individual.
The world wants to keep us fearful, locked in our screens, isolated, and afraid of each other and nature. Waldorf education shows us there is another way to live in the modern world in real relationship with each other and the Earth.
David Barham has been a Waldorf educator for 26 years. He has been a subject, class and high school teacher in four different Waldorf schools (Pine Hill, High Mowing, Maine Coast and El Papalote in Playa del Carmen, Mexico). He has served as College Chair, as a delegate to the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and has at times been a lecturer, consultant, adult educator, writer and is a passionate supporter of Waldorf education.
