Description
The Seacoast Science Center is hosting its fourth annual Sippin’ for Seals, a great night out for a great cause, on Thursday, June 15, 6-9 p.m. to benefit its Marine Mammal Rescue program.
Enjoy fabulous bites prepared by chefs from your favorite restaurants, sip on a cool cocktail by the sea, and dance the night away to live music by The Crab Shack Band. Held under the Center’s festive seaside tent located on the rocky shore of Odiorne Point State Park, you cannot beat the ocean view and relaxed atmosphere.
Along with a tasty array of tapas, the Atlantic Grill’s master bartender will concoct a special cocktail just for the event. While food and beverages are included in the ticket price, you’ll want to bring some cash to try your luck at winning your favorite bottle at the Wall of Wine Raffle. Raffle tickets are $20 and every ticket is a winner.
You can purchase a signature seal light-up pin for $20 and join in on the fun and games of the heads-or-tails raffle for your chance to win a grand raffle prize.
Also, when you help fund a need to support the Marine Mammal Rescue program when you purchase your ticket or during the event, your gift will be doubled thanks to a generous challenge gift from an anonymous donor. For your convenience, you can find the Marine Mammal Rescue needs list and make a donation when you purchase your tickets online.
Participating vendors have generously donated their good and services so proceeds from your Sippin’ for Seals tickets directly benefit marine mammal rescue in New Hampshire. Community support is critical to keep the Rescue Team ready to respond to every marine mammal that hauls out or strands on the coast. Your support also allows our Team collect important data for a national database that is used to assess health trends of marine mammals and the ocean environment.
