Join Sy Montgomery, author of The Soul of an Octopus, for a presentation and discussion about her intimate encounters with Athena the octopus. Sy will share her insight into the emotional and physical world of the octopus—a surprisingly complex, intelligent, and spirited creature—and the remarkable connection it made with her. A limited number of her children’s books, The Octopus Scientist and The Great White Shark Scientist will also be available for purchase and signing during the event.
