Saint Patrick’s Comedy Gala –The Music Hall Portsmouth NH Proceeds Benefit The Dan Healy Foundation & Veterans Count Portsmouth, NH – Looking for a hilarious way to spend your Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend? The Saint Patricks Comedy Gala is here to warm you up with laughter! Headlining the Saint Patrick’s Comedy tour New Hampshire own Jim McCue. Jim has been featured on Comedy Central, Gotham Live AXS TV and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing. Jim also founded and currently runs The Boston Comedy Festival. Jim has also performed at over 100 US military bases around the world. Joining McCue is Joey Carroll, who has been featured on Comedy Central. He is also a veteran of numerous overseas trips to benefit our troops. Rounding out the Irish brigade is Jimmy “PJ” Walsh, a Boston-based comic who’s worked with Lewis Black, Stephen Wright and Lenny Clarke. Host Paddy O’Furniture (alias Scott Langlois), is a top DJ who has been a favorite at New England events for more than 20 years. The Comedians will be joined by New Hampshire’s Irish dance groups The Murray Academy of Irish Dance and Grimes Irish. Both local legendary Legendary Irish dance schools. Bagpiper David O’ Connor will fill the hall with the haunting and exhilarating sounds of his pipes. Partial Proceeds to benefit and raise awareness for The Dan Healy Foundation upholds the honor and dedication exemplified by Senior Chief Dan Healy, a U.S. Navy Seal. A native of Exeter, NH, Healy was killed during an attempt to rescue four other embattled Navy Seals. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star with combat V for Valor and Purple Heart. The money raised in New Hampshire, stays in New Hampshire. Ninety percent of the money raised by Veterans Count goes directly back to veterans, service members and their families.
