Description

The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (Forest Society) is co-hosting a trivia night with the Center for Wildlife at the Portsmouth Brewery on Friday, October 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. Bats & Brews will challenge attendees’ brains with a wildlife spelling bee and trivia. Participants will enjoy games, raffle prizes, and delicious, locally crafted beer and food. Join hosts from the Forest Society and animal ambassadors from the Center for Wildlife to test your knowledge of New Hampshire's natural world. Pre-registration is required and tickets are $20 each and include two full pours and light hors d’oeuvres. The event is 21 and over. Bats & Brews will be hosted at the Portsmouth Brewery, located at 56 Market Street in downtown Portsmouth. Visit https://forestsociety.org/bats-and-brews to purchase tickets. “The trivia night is part of our Creek Farm Series, offering fun and engaging discussions, outings, trivia nights, and more,” states Dave Anderson of the Forest Society. “We hope you’ll come out to test your knowledge of New Hampshire’s great resources, meet other like-minded people, and have fun,” ABOUT THE FOREST SOCIETY The Forest Society is a private, non-profit land trust and forestry organization established in 1901. It currently holds more than 750 conservation easements statewide permanently protecting more than 100,000 acres of New Hampshire’s landscapes. The Forest Society also owns 171 forest reservations constituting more than 50,000 acres in 95 New Hampshire communities.
