ART: NHAA’s Fledgling and Bugging Out show: Opening March 6th

Opening March 6, 2026, the New Hampshire Art Association presents the third annual Fledgling: Artists Under 30 exhibition and Annual Fundraiser Auction, a juried showcase celebrating emerging New England artists and supporting the next generation of creatives. Juried by Mike Gauthier, the exhibition awards cash prizes and offers selected NHAA artists a complimentary one-year membership, while one craft artist will also receive a professional critique from a Juried Member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. Featured alongside the show is Bugging Out, an Arts in Reach installation inspired by the world of insects. The Annual Auction, held in conjunction with Fledgling, opens during the March 6 reception (5–8 p.m.) and continues online through March 20 at 7:30 p.m., with proceeds directly supporting future Fledgling programming; both exhibitions will be on view March 4–29 at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery, 136 State Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801
