JW-Jones, a Billboard Top 10 Blues artist, 2020 IBC Winner, and JUNO Nominee, is known for his high-energy performances. After winning “Best Guitarist” at the 2020 International Blues Challenge, he began working on his 12th album, Everything Now, released on May 26, 2023. The album features guest Jimmie Vaughan and was produced by Gordie Johnson. Jones, praised for his guitar skills by blues legends like Buddy Guy and Chuck Leavell, focused on making this album more personal, sharing heartfelt stories through his lyrics, such as “Papa’s in the Pen” and the emotional tribute “When You Left” about his mother’s passing. A regular on Billboard’s Top 10 Blues charts, Jones continues to grow his career, performing globally, including with Buddy Guy and George Thorogood, and captivating audiences in 23 countries across four continents.
