Description
Ever wondered what it takes to farm oysters or how these incredible shellfish help keep our waters clean? Join Laura Brown, founder of Fox Point Oysters, on Monday, April 14th from 6-7:30pm at the Food Commons at Tuckaway Farm for an engaging conversation about oyster farming, restoration, and the vital role oysters play in Great Bay. Since launching Fox Point Oysters in 2012, Laura has been growing delicious, locally-raised oysters while working to restore native oyster reefs and improve water quality in Little Bay. She’ll share the story of how she started her farm, what happens behind the scenes throughout the seasons (including what oysters do in winter!), and how New Hampshire’s small but mighty shellfish industry is making a positive impact on the local ecosystem and economy. This is a FREE event. However, registration is required for this can't-miss conversation on the fascinating impact of oysters https://bit.ly/SELOysterDiscussion We hope to see you there!
