Ghosts on the Banke -- a family-friendly Halloween event Friday, October 22 & Saturday, October 23, 2021; 5:30 - 8 PM About the event: Trick-or-treat safely outdoors from house to historic house with Jack-o'-lanterns lighting the way of Portsmouth's oldest waterfront neighborhood. Meet long-dead sea captains, wayward pirates, and a mysterious fortune-teller. Listen to ghostly tales, spooky plays, and interactive improvisation bringing history back to life. Additionally, enjoy frighteningly fun shopping at Pickwick's At the Banke, the Museum store. Tickets: Ghosts on the Banke tickets are only available online and this year's event is expected to sell out in advance. Member ticket sales begin on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10 AM EST. Public ticket sales begin on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 10 AM EST. Adults & Children over one-year-old*: $8 Children one-year-old or under: free, ticket required. *Strawbery Banke Members receive 50% off the ticket price. Not a member? Join today! COVID-19: Strawbery Banke Museum continues to monitor circumstances surrounding the pandemic and the guidance of the CDC, state and local health officials. Please review the Museum's COVID-19 precautions before visiting. Precautions may change before the event and any changes will be communicated to ticket holders via email. Note: All visitors and employees regardless of vaccination status attending Ghosts on the Banke are required to wear a mask covering the mouth and nose. If you don't have your own mask, Strawbery Banke Museum can supply one at no cost. Parking: There is NO onsite parking for Ghosts on the Banke as the Museum's parking lot is reserved for those with handicap accessible plates or hangtags only. Visitors are encouraged to try nearby offsite parking options including Portsmouth's two parking garages: the Hanover Street Garage (near Market Square) and the Foundry Place Garage (near Sheraton, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn & Suites) Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited capacity of this event, there can be no refunds. Additionally, Strawbery Banke is unable to accommodate requests for purchased tickets to be transferred to a different date.
