TRAILER For the first time in the United States, Zubkova will join us onsite at Alnoba to introduce the film and participate in a live Q&A, with the assistance of a translator. In a remote Siberian coal town, homemaker-turned-journalist Natalia Zubkova investigates an abandoned mine fire releasing toxic gas into residential homes. When her reporting goes viral, government officials launch an aggressive cover-up campaign, putting her directly in their crosshairs. Natalia Zubkova is the recipient of the Alan E. Lewis Moral Courage in Leadership Award for 2025.
