Join us for a leisurely 1 mile walk to explore the origins of Rye. We’ll start by going back to the 1600s when Europeans first settled what is now New Hampshire. We will walk the area together and touch upon the local Indigenous communities who first inhabited this seacoast region 13,000 years ago, as well as what David Thompson may have encountered in 1623 as the first European settlement of this point.
Best suited for ages 12 and up.
