Description
Join us for our weekly interactive Zoom meetings with Chamber Collaborative President Valerie Rochon, each Friday at 1 p.m. Local, state, and regional guests join us to provide updates, answer questions, and hear concerns. Let us know who YOU want to hear from each week.
This Friday we'll welcome Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Merner to address policing policies, and how our Portsmouth Police Department is working with the community.
Joanna Kelley who owns Cup of Joe in downtown will also join us to talk about the Black Lives Matter protest that she organized on June 7, and the collaboration between the Police Department and the organizers to ensure the safe, peaceful gathering of 4,000+ people in Market Square.
SPECIAL EVENT: After our discussion with the Chief and Jo, we will tap into the Juneteenth Black Heritage Livestream Celebration that is slated to run from 1 to 2:30 -- Music to Celebrate Our Ancestors: Drumming, Dance & Song.
You will not want to miss either this discussion or the celebration, so join us!
Working together, we can change the world. Let's do it. Onward!
