Returning to School in Portsmouth and at Great Bay Community College
Join us for our interactive Zoom meetings with Chamber Collaborative President Valerie Rochon, (NOTE new schedule) monthly on the second and fourth Fridays at 1 p.m. Local, state, and regional guests join us to provide updates, answer questions, and hear concerns. Let us know who YOU want to hear from each week.
On Friday, August 28th, we'll welcome Steve Zadravec, Portsmouth Superintendent of Schools and Sean Clancy, AVP at Great Bay Community College. We last spoke with this group back in April when they were making decisions about whether to keep schools open or go remote.
New decisions have been made about bringing students back to the classrooms for the fall. What considerations were explored to make these decisions, what will the classrooms and remote learning look like, and what are the resiliency plans should there be a spike in COVID cases?
Please join us, as what the schools are doing affects our children, their parents, and our workforce.
