The authors Carol Zall Lincoln and Debra Beth Laurion and illustrator Adina Linden present their children's story about the Portsmouth Peace Treaty summer of 1905. Original 1905 film and a children's parade. Interactive family event features with special activities, readings and book signings, and recreations from the book of some of Sadie’s experiences as a little girl in the Jewish neighborhood of Puddle Dock when the Russian and Japanese diplomats came to Portsmouth in 1905. Adina Linden will explain her illustrations and guide children in an art project creating bookmarks.
