Description
A Dickens’ of a Christmas, written and produced by George Hosker-Bouley who also stars as Charles Dickens, returns for its 10th year with its unique spin of the classic A Christmas Carol. Befuddled with writers block, a concerned Charles Dickens wonders what gift he should give his children for the holiday. After deciding to give them a story the well of ideas runs dry as Dickens discusses his troubles with his friends, all of whom appear in the classic tale. The production is complimented with original music and classic holiday songs.
A Dickens’ of a Christmas, written by George Hosker-Bouley, will return for its 12th year at the Old Salt Restaurant, Lafayette Road, Hampton. Performances are December 14,15,16,17. Doors open at 5:30pm for a 6pm show. The evening includes a gourmet three-course dinner, live music, holiday carols and the show. Tickets are $39.99 per person (does not include tax or gratuity) and must be reserved by calling the Old Salt Restaurant at 603-926-0330. Seating is limited.
