Description

Seacoast Repertory Theatre is pleased to present A Chorus Line, a stunning, high-spirited, and tense look into the Broadway audition process. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, nine Tony Awards, four Drama Desk awards, three Obies, and a legendary 6000 show run on Broadway, A Chorus Line is a spectacular fusion of song, dance, and drama. Directing and choreographing is Bryan Knowlton, a veteran of the Broadway run and an award winning director and choreographer in his own right. Seacoast Rep’s A Chorus Line features the original Broadway choreography. Featuring songs like “What I Did for Love,” “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror,” and “I Hope I Get It,” from Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kleban and a book from James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, and starring a killer ensemble of the best triple threats from the region and beyond, A Chorus Line is sure to delight newcomers and Broadway aficionados alike. A Chorus Line contains language and adult themes that may not be appropriate for younger children.
