DESCRIPTION:Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is hosting a free virtual community lecture titled Vein\, Vein\, Go Away on Thursday\, October 29\, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.\, presented by vascular surgeon\, Dr. Ritoban Sen\, of the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Center for Vascular Surgery. \n\n\n\nVenous disease is more than just unsightly varicose veins or spider veins\, it is a major cause of discomfort and disability in the population. Pain\, swelling\, skin changes\, and wounds caused by varicose or spider veins can be debilitating and prevent people from living a full and active life. During this lecture\, Dr. Sen will provide an overview of venous disease and discuss the numerous treatment options available.
