His ship was the first one to land on the beach in Normandy on D-Day. He was received by the Queen of England and many other heads of state at the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day. He received the Legion of Honor from the French Government it's highest medal. He was recently honored as the oldest living graduate of Harvard University.\n\n\n\nHis life was spent mostly quietly and lovingly with his family\, but in between there were quite a few momentous occasions that we will be sharing and exploring.\n\n\n\nThis is a "Special Edition" of CreativeMornings PKX. We are holding 30 tickets for school aged children 1st grade through 7th grade. Please email portsmouth@creativemornings.com if you would like to reserve seats before registration opens on the 14th.
