DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the South End Portsmouth Fairy House Tour--the world's largest fairy house tour--takes place each fall in the historic South End Neighborhood of Portsmouth\, New Hampshire. More than 200 fairy houses built by creative professionals\, community members\, and students will be on display on the grounds of Strawbery Banke\, the Governor John Langdon House\, and in Prescott Park. \n\n\n\nThe magical community charity event is a produced by Friends of the South End with the assistance of Canoe Harbor Consulting and all proceeds benefit the organizations\, schools\, and community groups who participate in the event. \n\n\n\nEach year between 6\,000 and 8\,000 grandparents\, parents\, and children attended the Portsmouth Fairy House Tour.
