DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate Shark Week with Seacoast Science Center on July 27! With our professional colleagues from Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC)\, we've planned a day of educational programs and ocean safety with the experts. Come by between 10am - 4pm to learn about the amazing shark species that call the Gulf of Maine home. Shark Day will feature fun shark-themed programs and Q&A with our local great white shark experts at AWCS.\n\n\n\nPlus beach safety with Rye Fire Department\, hot sauce and shark conservation with The Spicy Shark\, sharky reads with Portsmouth Public Library\, and more! Be the first to hear about exciting research being conducted right in our own backyard\, and gain knowledge about how to safely recreate in the Gulf of Maine this summer. Regular admission rates apply for this event and admission is free for science center members but please make reservations to guarantee your admission.
