DESCRIPTION:Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) is delighted to welcome Mary P. Harding as part of the 2017-18 West End Master Series\, a lecture series that brings local and national artists to PMAC's Haas Family Gallery for presentations that are free to the community. Mary will talk about her personal journey in art   a story that should inspire others to enter into the art world and a reminder to recognize that one good thing will lead to another. She will also share insight for artists on how to present and promote their work to a gallery. \nurator Mary P. Harding has always been passionate about art. She was an exhibit designer for Strawbery Banke Museum and for the Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum in Rochester\, NY. An independent art consultant specializing in regional contemporary art\, Harding curates contemporary art exhibits for the George Marshall Store Gallery in York\, Maine.
