DESCRIPTION:In its continued effort to provide resources to the community\, Seacoast Mental Health Center (SMHC) will offer 5 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) to professionals\, including providers and educators\, at the 15th Erik Cogswell Memorial Conference. This year?s theme is ?Trauma: The Relationship to Mental Health and Recovery.? Cheryl Sharp\, senior advisor for trauma-informed services for the National Council for Behavioral Health\, will serve as keynote speaker. A sampling of other speakers include Mark Gilbertson\, Ph.D\, Manchester VA Medical Center\; Martha Robb\, Ph.D\, Dartmouth School of Medicine\; and SMHC?s John Miller\, M.D. The 15th Erik Cogswell Memorial Conference will take place on Thursday\, October 23 at the Harbor Events & Conference Center in Portsmouth. Consumers and family members may register for $35. Registration is $140\, which includes 5 CEUs for professionals who request them. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.
